Crazy Love

Abba,

Thank You that Your mercies are new every morning.

Thank You that time means very little to you, and your patience never runs out.

Thank You for the power of prayer to change everything.

You are all that matters, and yet I’ve taken so little time to be with You these past few months.

Thank You for loving me just the same whether I spend all day in prayer or no time at all.

Thank You for being so perfect, and for loving me so profoundly.

Please help me to take the time to be with You, to bask in You, to learn Your ways, to be Your disciple, to do Your work, to share Your crazy love with a crazy lonely world. Please help me to master my day with a disciplined schedule.

In Jesus’ tender name I pray,

Prayer to Prepare for the Day

Father, we put today under Your authority and care, trusting in Your infinite grace and mercy.

We thank You for today and all it may bring that is from You and we bless You for it.

We give You every thought and intention and ask that You sanctify them and bring them in accord with Your mind and heart.

We stand in You against every scheme of the enemy that has been sent against us either in the night or today, so that Your perfect will may be done in our lives.

We put all natural and spiritual family members under Your protection and bless them with Your love and truth.

We bless all who are in any leadership role with protection from the enemy and ask that their wills come into alignment with Your Holy will for the good of all people in their care.

We pray for the Kingdom to happen in our lives and around the world, as it is in heaven may it be so on earth for Your glory.

We pray in union with all Your people on earth and in Heaven the prayer You asked us to pray:

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
You give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For Thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

This prayer (by Molly Sutherland) is one of the prayers our little angel Hrachik gave us at the birth certificate office in the story I told a couple weeks ago about our miracle. 🙂 Since then we’ve been praying it & the others every day. So powerful. Thank You, Abba!
